We are 3 final year students from University College PXL, working on our bachelor thesis. Our team exist out of Gabriel, William and Ammon. The intention of our thesis, is to create a startup with a hardware product.
Exovibe is the project name for our University project. We are creating electronics for smart wearables. This is a special clothing with integrated sensors. The PCB and required electronics will fit in a small housing and can be placed on your back.

We see some marketing and advertising solutions for pcbway in our University and for projects of other students and thesis subjects.
At our University we have a “makerspace” that is open for general public. A lot of people use this space for making their own project by 3D printing, laser cutting, etc. We think this is a perfect marketing opportunity for pcbway to let people make their own PCB. We can also put fliers in our University for all the students in our department, or we can even be “pcbway ambassadors”, to attract people to your website! We can also wear shirts with “pcbway”, to make more advertisement!
Project Introduction:
Our project goal is to make a startup and producing wearable devices that can be worn by people to measure their walking movements. We use this data to improve their walking and make an analysis of it. Thus, how more people we can measure, how better! We need at least 5 devices to start with our project and 50 would be our ultimate goal, so we can give these devices to everyone and take this data to analyze.

Until now we made a prototype, however our first PCB didn’t work out well and we used it to make our final PCB design which we use now with pcbway. It won’t contain errors any more, because we double checked it.
Our Wearable consist out of a textile trousers, pressure sensors, a battery pack and of course the
PCB with the microcontroller on board. The PCB will take all the information from the sensors, make some calculations and safe this data on-board, so we can later get the data of every person. The intention is that we give everyone a trousers so we can later get this data and tell them how their daily walking habits are and make a report of it. This is perfect for people that do sports or have special needs.
We have now finished the design of the PCB and have all the components waiting to make several wearables. We also have more than 30 people singed up who want to get their analysis of their walking habits. For now we have our deadline on Wednesday October 26th 2016 to have at least 1 working wearable. So we only need the PCB to be made. After the deadline we start making the other wearables and in November we will give them to the subscribed people. In December we will have enough data to start analyzing it.
