Step 1: Frequency Counter Upgrade
A home built frequency counter needed upgraging to increase its frequency range from 50 Mhz. to 1 GHz. I designed a prescaler board based on a Siemens SDA 4212 prescaler chip to achieve this goal. This also required reworking the time base oscillator of the counter to work with the new chip when in prescaler mode. A very fun project.
